As an advocate for the home-based entrepreneur, Dr. Anissa Short uses her platforms as a podcast host, international best-selling author, and speaker to educate, encourage and empower others. By way of the summits and workshops she hosts, she is known as an influencer and collaborator passionate about building winning teams.

Since 2018, Anissa has authored or co-authored, seven books, containing messages to support women and female entrepreneurs. Her 8th book, Forgive & Prosper, is scheduled to be released in Spring 2023. Prior to building her entrepreneurial platform, she was employed for 20 years within the business and public sectors, much of which involved mentoring and training. Anissa’s educational background includes degrees in Business and Administration, and she is a certified Christian life coach. In 1998, Anissa married her biggest support, Coach Alphonso Short, and together they are building a life in North Carolina.
